We are a floral design studio with deep roots

Founded in 2012 by lead designer Roberta Emmott, The Good Florist has been providing luxury wedding flowers for over a decade.

With a background in garden design and community food growing her approach is organic and conveys a deep love and appreciation of the seasons.

Known for working with unusual concepts, nuanced colour palates and in dramatic locations, The Good Florist provides contemporary wedding flowers that are both fashion-led and timeless.

The Good Florist studio is nestled on Roberta’s farm in Mid Devon, where she has access to incredible local flowers and materials. The Good Florist primarily offers wedding flowers across the South West; Dorset, Devon and Cornwall, but covers the whole of the UK with a base and team in Sussex too.

Committed to using local flowers even when working on destination weddings in Italy, Roberta carefully sources the very best seasonal flowers available.

It goes without saying that our wedding flowers are completely bespoke. We only work on a handful of events each year, allowing us to dive deeply and offer an uncompromised and highly attuned service.

If you like to work with us, please do reach out via our contact form.

I don’t think I can really articulate just how highly I would recommend Roberta. An artist when it comes to flowers and a bloody genius when it comes to understanding what will work. It was so amazing not having to spend a moment worried about the flowers, you instilled so much confidence in me from day one and delivered far beyond what I thought was possible. Thank you so much!
